(King of Prussia, PA) – Core Solutions, Inc., the progressive leader in integrated behavioral health Electronic Health Records (EHR) that transform the behavioral, medical and social services experience, today announced its partnership with AHRC New York City, a family governed organization committed to finding ways for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to build full lives as defined by each person and supported by dedicated families, staff and community partners. This partnership is critical to the intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD) population as EHRs with designated functionality for the IDD community have historically been limited and not standardized.

A premier partnership that will advance care delivery for the IDD population, Core Solutions’ Cx360 EHR and AHRC New York City will together deliver modern technological means to impact the delivery of services in the current fee-for-services IDD system and will lay the groundwork for an industry-wide move toward value based payment models. Committed to providing EHR software designed specifically for behavioral health and health and human services, Cx360 simplifies the care experience by delivering integrated care coordination, improving client engagement and streamlining accurate provider reimbursement.

“The amount of information required to properly provide services to people with IDD is voluminous and includes all facets of health, clinical and service information,” said Gary Lind, Executive Director, AHRC New York City. “Having a centralized, person-centered source for this information via Cx360 will, without doubt, allow for better and more efficient service delivery to the people we at AHRC New York City are committed to supporting.”

AHRC New York City selected Core Solution’s Cx360 EHR platform for its fully integrated and easy-to-use capabilities that were uncommon in other options considered during the selection process. Additional considerations that led to AHRC New York City’s partnership with Core Solutions included company relationships and reputation, platform flexibility and price. AHRC New York City was awarded a BIP Transformation Grant by New York State OPWDD that made the EHR selection process possible.

“From very early on we were impressed with Core’s sincere interest in people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their evolution in the development of a second generation EHR,” said Lind. “Core is a forward-thinking company with a keen awareness of the direction in which technology is rapidly moving, which was evident in their willingness to partner with usto create a solution that does not currently exist. Their focus on the customer, customer needs and customer service was very evident and important to our decision.”

"We are privileged to partner with a mission-driven organization like AHRC to offer an IDD solution that will impact service delivery not only at AHRC, but at other IDD provider agencies across the country," said Ravi Ganesan, President and CEO, Core Solutions. “We look forward to growing this relationship and continuing to provide technologies that improve care delivery for recipients of behavioral health services.”
